Mexico 2009 Part 8 - Leafs, church, cat and ants

Didn't really take too much photos during the day of this day as I was walking around in a half-dead state for most of the day. Can't even imagine living in such a harsh environment. Almost never drops below 30 degrees and the humidity is always over 90%. Living up here in Michigan (not for much longer) I can take a shower once a day (twice at most) and still feel quite fresh for most of the day - there I took about 5 showers a day and still walked around soaked.
While walking around the resort, found this small church. Once again, woot woot for polarizing filter! ^_^
If you haven't realized by now, I quite like taking photos of leafs. Well, nature in general. Not really a huge fan of taking photos of people as no-one ever likes how they look in the photos and expect you to shoot them 50 times over until they look "perfect". At least animals don't demand to see every single photo you took of them.
During the week I was there, saw 2 weddings taking place at the resort. Can't even imagine how expensive it must be to do something like this. I'm guessing the "free vacation" for all the guests that attended were paid for out of the pocket of the people being married. ...So hundreds of thousands of dollars. Oh my - just one more reason to not get married any time soon! ^_^;
Ok ok, I promise! The wallpapers section will be up... soon! Just have so much on my plate right now, between work, school, personal life and other such things, trying to juggle like 20 things. Plus these posts aren't too nice on my time consumption either. Even the small ones like this one take a good hour to do. First I gotta pick out the photos, then run them all though Photoshop to resize and watermark them - though this step I automated 99% - then I gotta upload them to Flickr, then have to write up all the text and so on and so forth. Surprisingly quite a bit of work.
But anyway, with the horrible day past, finally you can walk around without swimming in your own sweat. Saw quite a few cats just randomly walking around the resort. The people who work there, say they feed the cats if they ever come to the restaurants.

Earlier in the day I saw another trail like this one, but with maybe 10 times more ants so it was just like a black rug covering the ground. Next post will contain a new set of pretty night photos, similar to those in the first Night Shoot post.

@ben, Well, they're not *that* big - I mean bigger then the regular black ants you usually find, but not by too much. There's a closeup of them around the middle of the Part 3 post. :)
