Kiyosu Castle

On the 8th of November, visited a local castle which was a base of operations to a daimyo by the name of Oda Nobunaga, back in the 1500s. Can’t really say I’m too proud of my photos here, but at the time I only had my old Kodak DX7590 on me and from it, photos turn out smudged in any weather except bright sunlight.

Love all the little details on the roof and everything else around it.
On the territory, a small pond with fish in it. Net stretched out over the water to prevent things like branches from falling in.
This is the guy, Oda Nobunaga.
And his wife, Nohime.

First time I saw something like this. I want one too!

As it was a work day, no fauna in sight. Sorry about the crappy photos. Next time I’m in the area will make a point to go back and take better ones with a better camera.

If the Wiki doesn't lie, the latest round of renovations took place in 1989.
Also no, for some reason never did stop by Nagoya Castle. Will really need to go there one of these days...
