As you may have noticed, I've been briefly writing about general topics and impressions I had about Japan. On the fourth day of guest blogging comes Akihabara, land of the otakus, maids, and those looking for all sorts of electronics.
Akihabara is located in Tokyo and hosts a myriad of stores. On weekends, Akihabara's streets are open to pedestrians, so you pretty much know how crowded the whole panorama looks.
A few bigger name stores like Laox and Onoden are part of Akihabara's scenery, but you'll mostly find smaller more geeky stores around.
And what you'll definitely not miss, are cute J-gals with handouts ^^ most of them will hide as soon as you point a camera, but I guess it's somewhat pointless when you're surrounded by dozens of cameras.
Is Akihabara on your To-go list when you get to Japan? ^^

I remember being there!, i miss japan so much, it is like another planet over there, everything look, tastes better... but i'm stuck in Puerto Vallarta for now... That girl is so cute, but i guess there wasn't enough space for her pinky toe (i know im just like george costanza).

Definitely a To-go destination. Last time I went, didn't buy any electronics, so I'll be ready to buy some next time!

Wow, man... yeah, totally agree with Jamaipanese - it is kinda depressing, knowing that I won't see that scenery anytime soon. T_T But Akihabara is definitely on my list, once I get there. How couln't it?
